About this app

Smart Guard Finance keeps track of the money coming in and going out, without asking for your bank password and without selling your data. Everything you record is encrypted on your device and in the cloud, and only you hold the key.

ONLY YOU CAN READ YOUR DATA
• Encrypted on your device and in the cloud: not even we can read it.
• A 12-word recovery key that only you keep.
• Unlock with biometrics or your device passcode, and a discreet mode to hide amounts.
• With a subscription, export everything (spreadsheet or full file). Deleting your account from inside the app is always available.

IMPORT FROM YOUR BANK
• OFX and CSV statements, read on your device, even offline.
• Duplicates are caught: importing the same period twice never counts twice.
• Quick manual entry whenever you need it.

CAPTURE
• On Android, your bank's purchase notification becomes a one-tap entry suggestion. It is read on the device and only starts if you allow it.

UNDERSTAND YOUR MONTH
• Every expense categorized for you, and the app learns from your corrections.
• Cash view (when money left your account) or accrual view (when you bought it, even on a card).
• Credit cards with closing and due dates, installments and bill payments that never count twice.
• Show amounts in your own currency.

PLAN AHEAD
• Budgets per category, with a heads-up before you go over.
• Projected balance to the end of the month and how much you can still spend per day.
• Due dates with reminders, and the fixed bills that repeat every month.
• Savings goals and a weekly summary.

ASK THE ASSISTANT
• "How much did I spend this month?", "Where did I spend the most?": answers are worked out on your device.

FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
• Invite the people you live with and choose which accounts to share. The rest stays yours.
• See just yours, just the family's, or everything together.

SUBSCRIPTION
The first 30 days are free, with everything unlocked and no card required. After that, the subscription is monthly or yearly and covers your account on every device and on the web. Without a subscription the app still opens in read-only mode: you can still view your data.

Payment is made through Google Play and renews automatically until cancelled in the Play Store.
