I consider myself pretty tech savvy, but dang it took me almost an hour to figure out how to upgrade the firmware! The app is slow and unresponsive, very poor instructions on even how to make a new password for myself. I really wish Manards had a review section for their products, I wouldn't have bought it if I knew how bad the app is. Now I'm on my way to return it--- in the end, even after the firmware update the lock struggled to stay connected to my internet and remote unlocking was impossible.

The codes usually work, but sometimes they don't. After so many incorrect tries it's supposed to wait for a minute but it does it right away. Lately I have to put the code in twice to get it to open. Very unreliable. Trying to turn on remote lock/ unlock seems way confusing. You do what it says to turn it on and it just changes back to the previous screen with remote off. This controls a Trubolt lock that says Orion on this app.

Nice Lock. HORRIBLE APP. I like the quality of the lock itself. That app hasn't crashed on me and seems to report the status of the lock promptly. The wording is strange sometimes. Almost like broken English. The instructions contradict themselves sometimes and I still haven't figured out how to add user codes. I've used apps for other locks before and they are not confusing and are straightforward. This thing is just frustrating and confusing.
