SmartScan Launcher combines QR and barcode tools with a customizable Android home screen. Scan codes, create QR codes, review your history, and access installed apps and widgets from one place.

Home screen tools:
• Browse and search launchable apps installed on your device
• Organize app shortcuts on home screen pages and the dock
• View recent app usage information after granting optional Usage Access

QR and barcode tools:
• Scan QR codes and barcodes with your camera
• Create QR codes for text, links, Wi-Fi details, and other supported content
• Save or share generated QR code images
• Review your scan and creation history
• View persistent totals for scanned and created codes

Default home app:
To use the complete home screen experience, you can select SmartScan Launcher as your default Home app through Android system settings. This change only takes effect after your confirmation, and you can switch to another Home app at any time.

Permissions and access:
• Camera access is used to scan QR codes and barcodes
• Photo or media access may be used when you select an image to scan or save a generated QR code, depending on your Android version
• Usage Access is optional and is used only to display app usage information
