SmartScan Marks App helps teachers and lecturers move student marks from paper into Excel — automatically, accurately, and fast.

After finishing marking, open the app, create a session with your course name and maximum mark, then choose how to enter the marks.

SCAN MARK SHEETS
Point your phone camera at each paper mark sheet and capture it. Add multiple sheets to one batch. Tap Process Batch and the AI reads every student registration number and mark automatically — even handwritten sheets. No typing. No manual transfer.

VOICE ENTRY
Upload your class list, then speak naturally in Swahili or English. Say "namba moja amepata 12, namba mbili amepata 45" and the app maps each mark to the correct student by their position in the list. Up to 5 students per voice batch.

AUTOMATIC VALIDATION
SmartScan flags every error before it reaches your system. Marks above the maximum are highlighted. Duplicate registration numbers are caught. Unreadable entries are flagged for your review. You correct only what needs correcting.

EXPORT TO EXCEL OR CSV
One tap exports a clean, validated spreadsheet ready for SR2, NECTA, MUHAS, or any student management system your institution uses.

WORKS ONLINE AND OFFLINE
When connected, Gemini AI provides the highest accuracy including handwritten sheets. When offline, the app switches automatically to on-device OCR so you can keep working anywhere — no internet required.

SHARE ACCESS WITH YOUR TEAM
One account can be shared across your whole department using an Access Code. Everyone draws from the same credit pool but each person's sessions and student data stay completely private.
