Smart Start now offers a convenient, easy-to-use app that allows you to create or manage your alcohol monitoring account directly from your phone! Make a payment, purchase an unlock code, find a service center nearby, or even become a Smart Start client in minutes. Whether you use the Ignition Interlock Device, SMART Mobile device, or are a Check-In client, you can manage your account right from the app.

What’s new

The app can now display important service and emergency alerts, and this release fixes several reported crashes and visual glitches in the mobile apps. To comply with new state age-requirement laws, the app may now confirm at first launch that you meet the 18+ age requirement, using your device's built-in age settings — this happens only once at sign-in, and no age information is ever stored or shared.
