About this app

The citizen services app of Bagmati Municipality (बागमती नगरपालिका), Sarlahi district, Madhesh Province.

Find out what a service needs before you travel to the office. Read notices the day they are published. Register a complaint and follow it through to a resolution. Most of the app works without an account, and everything is in Nepali.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Citizen Charter (नागरिक बडापत्र)
Every service the municipality provides, with the documents you must bring, the fee, how long it takes, the branch that handles it and the officer in charge. Tap "सुन्नुहोस्" and any service is read aloud in Nepali — useful when reading a long list on a phone is difficult.

• Notices and news (सूचना)
Tenders, vacancies, tax notices and public information, with the attached documents. Turn on alerts and your phone tells you when something new is published.

• Register a complaint (जनता कनेक्ट)
Report a problem — a broken street light, a water line, waste collection — and attach a photo. You get a tracking number and can follow the status through to resolution, including which department it was assigned to.

• Hello Mayor (हेलो मेयर)
Send policy feedback or a suggestion to the Mayor's office. You can send it anonymously; if you do, no identifying details are stored at all.

• Recommendations and registration (सिफारिस तथा दर्ता)
Start an application from your phone and track where it has reached.

• Representatives and staff (जनप्रतिनिधि तथा कर्मचारी)
Who works in which branch, their post and their phone number — so you reach the right person the first time.

• Laws and by-laws (ऐन तथा कानुन)
The municipality's acts, regulations, directives and procedures, readable in the app.

• Emergency contacts (आपतकालीन सम्पर्क)
Police, ambulance, fire and the municipality's own numbers, one tap to dial.

• Service token (ई-टोकन)
Take a number before you travel, and see which number the office is currently serving.

• Projects (ई-योजना)
Which projects are running in your ward, and how far along they are.

WHO IT IS FOR
Residents of Bagmati Municipality's twelve wards, anyone who needs a service from the municipal office, and anyone who wants to follow what the municipality publishes.

No advertisements. No tracking. The app asks for your details only when you submit something that the office cannot act on without them.
