About this app

Expense tracker for people who just want to write down what they spend. Open the app, type the amount, tap a category. It is saved before you put your phone away. No bank login, no account, no sign-up. This simple expense tracker keeps your daily spending on your own phone.

LOG A SPEND IN ABOUT FIVE SECONDS
The home screen is the keypad. Type an amount, tap Food, Groceries, Transport or any other category, and the entry is saved. A single tap on Undo takes it back. The five categories you use most sit under your thumb, and they stay put during a session so you can tap without looking.
- The keypad adds as you go: type 12.50 + 3.20 and it saves 15.70
- Set the date, add a short note, or switch currency for one entry
- Expenses and income, each with their own categories

SEE WHERE THE MONEY WENT
Reports show your month as a ring chart by category, next to a six month income and spending chart and a comparison with last month. History lists every entry by day, with search and a category filter. Swipe to delete, tap to edit, and Undo is always there.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your ledger lives in a file on your phone. There is no bank sync to break and no account to lose. Use it as an expense tracker app offline: logging needs no connection at all. A snapshot of your data is saved automatically every day, and if the data file is ever damaged the app restores the newest snapshot for you.

BACKUP AND EXPORT YOU CONTROL
- Save a full backup file and restore it on a new phone
- Export a spreadsheet (CSV) that opens in any spreadsheet app
- Your data is never locked inside the app

REPEATING ENTRIES THAT DO WHAT YOU EXPECT
Add rent, a salary or a subscription once as a weekly, monthly or yearly entry. When you delete one, you choose: only this one, this and all future ones, or the whole rule. Entries already logged stay in your history.

TRAVEL AND OTHER CURRENCIES
Log an entry in any of more than fifty currencies. Reports total other currencies using exchange rates that you set yourself, so nothing is fetched and nothing is guessed.

YOUR CATEGORIES
Use the built-in categories or create your own, with your own icon and colour. Delete a category and its entries move to Other.

A GENTLE REMINDER, IF YOU WANT ONE
An optional evening reminder asks whether you spent anything today, and a monthly note tells you your summary is ready. Both can be switched off or moved to another time in Settings.

What’s new
