Keycap ASMR turns your phone into a mechanical keyboard you can tap, listen to and make your own.

Open a keycap and press. Every key answers with a real keyboard sample, a spring loaded press animation and a short vibration that lands with the sound.

RECORDED FROM REAL KEYBOARDS
The sounds come from six real keyboards: full size, low profile, vintage, tactile, laptop and office, grouped into 24 sound banks with more than one hundred samples. Each press picks a different sample and shifts the pitch a little, so long runs never sound like one sample on repeat. Press and release make two different sounds, just like the real thing.

A KEYCAP FOR EVERY MOOD
The home screen offers six picks that change every day, drawn from the whole catalog. Sizes run from a single key up to 12, 16 and 20 keys. Browse the gallery, filter by size and material, and long press a card to hear its switch first. Recent and favorite keycaps stay one tap away.

MAKE IT YOURS IN THE STUDIO
Set the key height and watch the travel, shadow and vibration follow.
Pick a keycap material from PBT, ABS, ceramic, metal, glass, crystal, jelly and clear, and a board case of plastic, aluminum, wood, acrylic or clear.
Recolor the caps and put a letter, a word or an icon on every key.
Choose a scene behind the board or use one of your own photos.
Turn on LED backlighting with five modes, five colors and adjustable brightness. Clear keycaps let the light shine through.
Add press effects in layers, from cap glow to screen pulse, and pick a stage burst such as fireworks, sparks or petals.
Set the vibration strength, hear each switch as you select it, undo and redo, and keep editing after saving.

TAKE A THIRTY SECOND REFRESH
Tap one key at your own pace for thirty seconds. No score and no goal, just a countdown and a single key, ready from the home screen, a widget or the notification shade.

RELAX WITH AN ASMR SESSION
Let the app type for you. The rhythm is built like real typing, with short pauses between words and longer breaks between sentences, and it fades out gently. Finished sessions add up to total minutes and a streak.

THE SOUND LAB
Compare switches side by side, guess a hidden switch in a listening game that widens from four sounds to all nine, and let short A and B rounds find your favorite sound. Apply the winner in one tap.

KEYCAP PLAY
Pick a rhythm and the keyboard plays it by itself: 73 grooves from bossa nova to drum and bass, an auto mix, and a stage that bursts on every beat. Tap along, or open focus mode and let the stage fill the screen.

PLAY AND TRACK
A quick tap game on a 2 by 2 or 3 by 3 board, a weekly goal from your own tap count, and records with today, this week, this month and a 7, 14 or 30 day chart. Home screen widgets show your tap count and open a keycap instantly. Join the optional world ranking under a generated name you can change and compare weekly taps and game scores.

WORKS OFFLINE, RESPECTS YOUR PRIVACY
No account is needed. Keycaps, settings and tap counts stay on your phone, and you can export or delete all of them. No microphone, location, contacts or activity access. Premium designs unlock with your own accumulated taps.

DESIGNED FOR TOUCH
Low latency audio starts the sound the instant your finger lands. Multi touch with slide across keys, large screen and foldable layouts, light and dark themes, and reduced motion support.

Sound credits and notes
Audio samples are used under CC0 and CC BY licenses, with attribution for each source inside the app. Vibration, latency and sound quality depend on your device. Material names describe the visual style of the on screen keycaps and do not refer to any keyboard brand or product.
