These recommendations will be right next to your friends’ recommendations, so they are all in one place.

• Follow friends, celebs, industry people and experts

Ratings and reviews

I honestly love Smashbomb! I saw the app through an ad, looked at maybe one or two reviews before deciding to try it out myself. I wasnt sure if I'd like it. However, the first few days I was pretty much glued to it :) It's an easy app to use, you just rate whatever you want or can rate. You can get cool little prizes if you have accumulated enough points, which is pretty easy to get. Honestly, I could write so much more if I could. All in all, amazing app :)

Interesting little app, where you can rate anything and everything media related - either physical media (books, board games), physical/electronic media (music, films, apps, video games, YouTube channels, podcasts) or the items used for accessing/using them (screens, smart devices, cameras, headphones, laptops, speakers etc). Not the easiest to browse but ok search function and easy to add items that don't yet exist on their system. Fun, quick daily ratings system and giveaways that do exist!

As someone who rates and reviews board games, video games, books, movies and TV, this app seemed perfect for me. Everything from Board Game Geek, Goodreads etc, all in 1 place. However, Smartbomb unfortunately lacks much of the functionality of the sites that it seeks to replace - tracking of your collection, progress, play logs etc - without offering anything new. It is not a bad app. The interface is clean, if a little unresponsive at times. It is sadly just not good enough.
