Runes have been read for centuries as a mirror for reflection: 24 symbols of the Elder Futhark, each one carrying its own name, keywords and meaning. Rune Dictionary brings all of them together in one calm, easy app you can open whenever you want a moment of clarity.

A COMPLETE RUNE DICTIONARY
Browse all 24 runes of the Elder Futhark, from Fehu to Othala. Every entry includes:
- the rune symbol and its traditional names
- a short introduction to its origin
- its characteristics and the energy associated with it
- the upright meaning
- the reversed (merkstave) meaning, for the runes that have one
- a list of keywords to help you interpret a reading quickly

THE HISTORY BEHIND THE SYMBOLS
Read where the runes come from: the oracle of Odin, the druids who used them to pass on knowledge in code, the fifteen original signs and the eight later Scandinavian additions that completed the futhark of 24. The alphabet is presented in its three aetts, Freyr, Hagal and Tyr, so you can see how the set is organised.

A traditional five-step guide to crafting runes yourself: gathering the branch, cutting the discs, engraving, colouring, and taking leave of the gods. It also covers how to activate a ready-made set during the waxing moon, and how to purify your runes with incense, salt or the light of the full moon.

The app is very simple; that's a good thing because things are right there. You see the rune, press it, and it gives every thing you need to know about the rune. In the other way, simple can make it a bit boring, I mean the overall design(the background, writing font, etc.). Something I'd like to see in the app is showing how not only to understand, but to write and read as well. If you can read this mr. AuthorMan, then I hope you'll find all this helpful.

The app content is great, but the ads pop up ever time you click on a rune making this app unusable.
