About this app

SMG Tools is one system for a service business, from the quote to the job to getting paid. This is its app: the SMG Tools your office uses in a browser, made for the phone in your pocket. Sign in with your SMG Tools account.

FOR THE CREW
• My Day: your visits in order, each with its address, directions and a button to call the customer.
• On my way: one tap tells the office, and, where your business has Customer tracking on, texts the customer who is coming.
• Mark that you have arrived, start the clock, and send notes and photos back to the office.
• Work the job's checklist, readings and all.
• Scan an equipment label with your phone's camera to take it out or bring it back.
• Photograph a receipt for an expense.

FOR THE OWNER AND THE OFFICE
• The dashboard: what came in this year, and what is still owed.
• Send an invoice, or a payment reminder, from wherever you are.
• Job costing: what you estimated against what it cost, and what each job made.
• Proposals with good, better and best options for your customer to choose from.
• The assistant: type or say what you need, such as recording miles for a job, and confirm what it prepared.

SIGNED IN, AND KEPT SAFE
• Sign in with your password, Google, Microsoft, Apple or a passkey.
• Your session is kept in your phone's own secure storage, for this phone alone.
• A link in an SMG Tools email opens the app.
