About this game

Pour, pile up, build – and no mess at home!

Hijoo Sand is a calm, magic sandbox for children aged 2 to 6. Hijoo the unicorn has a rainbow beach where colourful sparkly sand pours from a pail. Your child paints with sand, fills jars, builds sand castles, digs for treasures and pours water on the sand so flowers grow. Everything behaves like real sand: it pours, piles up and slides, and wet sand keeps its shape. Hijoo is the same unicorn you may know from Hijoo: Cooking, Hijoo Train and the other Hijoo games.

SIX WAYS TO PLAY
• Free beach: buckets of pink, turquoise and yellow sand, water, stones and seeds. Water makes wet sand, seeds grow into flowers. Bury Hijoo up to the knees – he giggles and shakes the sand off
• Jars: sand pours from above; draw ramps with a finger so the right colour fills the friend's jar. 36 tasks in four worlds
• Sand castle: fill molds with wet sand, turn them over and build the castle a friend wishes for. Decorate it with shells and flags
• Treasures: brush the sand away until a treasure appears – shells, starfish, crowns, a smiling dino bone. 30 treasures for the chest
• Sand bottle: pour layers of coloured sand into a glass bottle and make waves
• Sand drawing: on a light table the finger pushes the sand away and coloured light shines through

CALMING, LIKE KINETIC SAND
Pouring sand is soothing. Calm mode (in the parents' corner) makes pouring slower and sounds quieter – nice before sleep.

GROWS WITH YOUR CHILD
• Three levels adapted to your child's age: short ramps and helping lines for two-year-olds, two colours and two jars for older children
• No text needed – the helping hand shows what to do
• Gallery of beaches, bottles and drawings, 60 stickers in the album

WHAT YOUR CHILD LEARNS
Cause and effect, how sand and water behave, colours, planning, fine motor skills and creativity.
