Nafsync is a dating app for Muslim adults built around one idea: an artificial intelligence reads two profiles, works out how compatible the people behind them really are, and tells you why.

THE AI IS THE MATCHMAKER

Most apps rank people by photos and a couple of filters. Nafsync reads the substance of a profile: values, lifestyle, family outlook, religious practice, education, and the answers you write to personality prompts. From that, the AI produces a compatibility score and a short written explanation you are free to disagree with.

Only the text of your profile is sent to the AI - never your name, never your photos.

DIRECT SYNC - THE AI PICKS ONE PERSON FOR YOU

Hold your finger on your avatar. Waves spread across a night sky. The app shortlists the eligible profiles closest to you, the AI reads the whole shortlist, picks the single person it judges most compatible with you, and reveals that profile with its score and its reasoning.

You set the minimum compatibility you are willing to accept. If nobody on the shortlist reaches it, nobody is revealed. If someone does, the sync is created for both of you and the conversation opens straight away: no like to wait for, no request to accept. Either of you can unmatch or block at any time.

Direct Sync is deliberately rare: once a week for free, once a day with Premium. Extra draws can be bought separately.

INSIGHT - ASK BEFORE YOU DECIDE

On any profile you are viewing, ask the AI for a compatibility read: a score and an honest explanation of where you align and where you do not. One read a week is free, Premium gives you ten a week.

BROWSING: CONSTELLATIONS OR CARDS

You can browse too. On a rotating celestial map, profiles orbit around you and you pull the ones that catch your eye into focus - or switch to classic cards in one tap. Pulse or pass, at your own pace.

YOU DECIDE WHAT IS SEEN

Field by field, photo by photo, video by video: you choose what is public and what stays blurred until you sync with someone. Your exact position is never shown to anyone, only a distance. Invisible mode lets you browse without appearing.

WALI MODE

Sisters can add their wali's (guardian's) contact details. When a wali is set, in-app chat stays closed and your wali's details are shared with your syncs, so contact happens through him. Your family's customs are respected, never imposed on anyone else.

TRUST AND SAFETY

- Free identity verification: a selfie with a random gesture, reviewed by a human

- Reported photos and videos moderated manually
- Messages encrypted at rest on our servers (this is not end-to-end encryption)

HOW IT WORKS

Pulse someone you like. If they pulse back, it is a Sync and the conversation opens. Send a Super Pulse to stand out, or a Direct Pulse to write first: they accept or decline, like a message request. Chat with text and GIFs.

OPTIONAL PREMIUM

Premium gives you a Direct Sync every day instead of every week, ten Insights a week instead of one, unlimited Pulses, and shows you who pulsed you. It also unblurs hidden media, adds a voice intro and invisible mode, and removes ads. There is a 24-hour Pass, Boosts to be seen more, and credit packs for Super Pulse, Direct Pulse and Direct Sync. Everything essential works without paying.

AI compatibility scores are indicative. They are generated automatically, they can be wrong, and they never replace your own judgement.

Nafsync does not promise you a wedding. It gives you a small number of people, and a reason for each one.
