SMP Fraud Busters is an interactive, educational game developed by the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Resource Center designed to teach older adults and Medicare beneficiaries how to prevent, detect, and report healthcare fraud and scams. Players navigate a "day in the life" of a person encountering phone, email, and in-person scams, earning badges and taking on fraudsters

As an SMP Fraud Buster you will learn to:

Avoid Scammers - Play as a day in the life of a person avoiding imposter email, phone, and in-person scams.
Complete the To Do List - Each level has a list of tasks to complete as you play the game, and it tracks your progress. Watch out for scammers along the way!
Play Brain Games – complete a daily wordsearch with common scam terms.
Earn Badges – compete against other SMP Fraud Busters to earn badges and move up the leaderboard.

Ratings and reviews

Game is great for scam prevention HOWEVER it plays these videos which would be great resources IF they had captions. A large amount of seniors and disabled folk who this app is supposedly made for will be unable to access this feature due to hearing loss. If it was accessible to the Deaf, I would rate it five stars. As it is, this is a major oversight that severely hinders its effectiveness.
