Smra Quran is an app for reading the Quran, viewing translations and listening to ayah-by-ayah recitations.
The app follows the Madani Mushaf page structure and includes 604 pages, 114 surahs and 6,236 ayahs.
READ THE QURAN
• Uthmani Quran Text
Read the Uthmani Quran text using Amiri Quran typography and the Madani Mushaf page layout.
• Color-Coded Tajweed
Tajweed colors indicate pronunciation rules directly within the Arabic text.
• Adjustable Text Size
Change the Arabic text size according to your reading preference.
LISTEN TO QURAN RECITATION
• Five Reciters
Listen to recitations by Mishary Rashid Alafasy, Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary, Saad Al-Ghamdi and Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi.
• Background Playback
Continue listening while the screen is off or while using other apps. Control playback from the lock screen and notification panel.
• Automatic Ayah Progress
The currently playing ayah is highlighted. Playback continues automatically through the surah and proceeds to the next surah.
• Continue Listening
Your last listened surah and ayah are saved so you can continue from the same position later.
TRANSLATIONS AND SEARCH
• Five Translation Languages
View Quran translations in English, Turkish, German, French and Spanish. Switch languages without restarting the app.
• Quran Search
Search Arabic text, translations and surah names to locate relevant ayahs.
READING PLANS AND PROGRESS
• Khatm Plans
Choose a 30, 60 or 90-day Quran completion plan. Daily page goals are calculated automatically and adjusted when required.
• Reading Progress
Mark pages and ayahs as read, follow your daily target and continue from your last reading position.
• Daily Ayah Widget
Add a widget to your home screen to display a selected Quran ayah and its translation.
• Bookmarks
Save ayahs and return to them later.
• Light and Dark Themes
Choose between light and dark display modes.
• Cached Audio
Previously downloaded ayah audio can be played again without an internet connection.
No account is required. Reading progress, bookmarks and preferences are stored on your device.
