Scrolling without thinking. Opening apps without meaning to. Sound familiar?
Digital Dose puts a tiny speed bump between you and your most distracting apps — a quick cognitive challenge you complete before getting in. That's it. No guilt. No hard locks. Just one conscious moment before every unlock.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Pick your apps — Choose which apps you want to use more intentionally. Instagram, YouTube, X — whatever pulls you in without meaning to.
2. Your Dose kicks in — Every time you open a managed app, Digital Dose intercepts it instantly and presents a short challenge.
3. Challenge done → Use freely — Complete it, reflect on why you're opening the app, then decide: go in or step away. Either choice is valid — the goal is just to make it conscious.
THREE COGNITIVE CHALLENGES:
Wisdom Scroll — Swipe through fact cards and find the hidden twin pair. Tests memory and attention.
Quantum Pop — Pop the right bubbles before time runs out. Tests reflex and focus.
Lexicon Grid — Tap scrambled letters to spell a word, learn its meaning, pass the recall test. Tests spelling and vocabulary.
BUILT FOR YOUR PRIVACY:
Everything stays on your device. No accounts. No tracking. No data collection. Your app list and usage stats never leave your phone.
NO ADS. NO DISTRACTIONS.
Digital Dose will never show you ads. The app that helps you use your phone less will not make money by keeping you on it longer.
ALSO INCLUDES:
Daily unlock counter per app
PiP bypass detection and alerts
Offline fallback — always works, even without internet
Session timer — set how long each unlock lasts
Built by a Chartered Accountant from India who got tired of opening YouTube when he meant to work.
Instant loading — no images, no waiting
AccessibilityService API Disclosure:
Digital Dose utilizes the Android AccessibilityService API to provide its core functionality. This permission is required to detect when you launch an application that you have actively chosen to block. When a restricted app is detected, the service intercepts it to display a cognitive challenge. We do not use the Accessibility API to collect, store, or share any personal data, and we do not monitor your keystrokes or general screen content.
