HOW THIRD EYE USES THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Third Eye uses Android's AccessibilityService API as a core part of its function for blind and visually impaired users. The service is used to read on-screen content aloud with text-to-speech and to let users navigate the app and their device using simple gestures and voice commands, without needing to see the screen. The Accessibility Service is used only to provide this spoken feedback and navigation for the user, and is essential for people who cannot see the display.
