The SMUD App offers our residential customers easy access to the things that are most important to you when it comes to home energy usage. We want your experience to be fast and simple, so once you sign in, you'll stay signed in on your device until you sign out, no matter how many times you visit.

Ratings and reviews

to call it an app is laughable. if it doesn't work and crashes EVERYTIME you click anything on the home screen, it's not an app: it's unsupported junk. my led lights from temu have a stable app but I guess that's too much to ask from a major utility provider. keep the bar for success on the floor and you guys are doing great.

Crashes if you try to do anything beyond the main dashboard.

Very clean, easy to navigate. Really like that there is an app now. The only thing that would make it better is integration with Nest Thermostat Time of Savings. That would be super helpful going into summer with the Time of Day rate - making it easier to save on A/C costs. Otherwise, very pleased with the new app.
