About this app

SnacWeb — A Compassionate Cancer Community

SnacWeb is a free peer-support community built for people whose lives have been touched by cancer. Whether you are newly diagnosed, in active treatment, a survivor, a caregiver, or a family member, SnacWeb gives you a safe place to connect with others who truly understand.

What you can do on SnacWeb

• Share your story — Post updates about your journey, ask questions, and share what's working. Add photos, videos, and voice notes to capture what words alone can't.

• Find your people — Browse cancer-type groups for breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, leukemia, and many more. Connect with members who understand exactly what you're facing.

• Private family circles — Create private groups for just your family. Share treatment updates, photos, and milestones without broadcasting to the world.

• Live conversations — Go live to share a moment, host a Q&A, or simply spend time with the community. Join livestreams from members across the country.

• Direct messages — Reach out one-on-one when you need to talk. Send voice notes, photos, or just a simple "thinking of you."

• Daily inspiration — Curated stories, recipes, articles, and resources from trusted sources.

• Nearby community — Optionally see members in your area for in-person meetups, support groups, or shared experiences.

• Cancer news and research — Stay informed with vetted updates on treatments, clinical trials, and survivorship.

Built with privacy and safety first

• Detailed privacy controls — make posts public, friends-only, or family-only
• Block and report tools to keep the community supportive
• Encryption for messages and data in transit
• Plain-English privacy policy aligned with GDPR and CCPA

Who SnacWeb is for

SnacWeb is open to anyone 18 and older affected by cancer. We are a peer-support community — we are not a healthcare provider, and SnacWeb does not give medical advice. Always consult your medical team for treatment decisions.

Free to use, supported by gentle in-app ads

SnacWeb is free. To keep it free we display a small number of non-intrusive ads. We never sell your personal information, and we never use the health information you share to target advertising.

About us
