About this app

Snaparo is a document scanner that keeps your papers on your phone. There is no account to make, no ads, and no server of ours. Scan a page, and it’s a clean PDF in your library a moment later, ready to share, print or find again.

Your ID card, a lease, a payslip, a doctor’s letter: these are exactly the papers that shouldn’t be uploaded to someone else’s cloud. With Snaparo they stay on your phone, and you decide where they go.

SCAN ANYTHING
• Automatic edge detection, perspective correction and automatic capture
• Multi-page documents in one go, or a receipts mode where every photo becomes its own document
• ID cards with both sides on one page
• Crop, rotate and filters, before or after saving
• A warning when a page looks like a duplicate
• Turn photos into one PDF, in the order you pick them
• Import PDFs and photos you already have, or open a PDF from any app with Snaparo

FIND IT AGAIN
• Folders, tags and dates, organised for you
• Search inside your documents: the text on every page is read on your phone
• Web addresses, emails and phone numbers on a page become links you can tap
• Bookmarks for the pages you come back to
• Reminders before an ID, a policy or a warranty runs out

DO MORE WITH YOUR PDFs
• Sign any document with your own signature
• Redact what nobody should see, highlight what matters, add text
• Merge, split, extract and compress PDFs
• Add a password to a PDF, or unlock one you have the password for
• Save the text as Word, translate a page, even offline
• Send a month of invoices and receipts to your accountant in one package

KEEP IT PRIVATE
• A vault protected by your fingerprint, and an app lock
• Backups to a place you choose, encrypted with your password if you like
• Your documents are also available in Android’s file browser, so you can attach them anywhere
• Scanning needs no camera permission: Android’s own scanner hands the pages to Snaparo
• Text recognition, search and translation run on your phone
