This is a calculator for calculate price per gram ( RM/g ) of gold
In malaysia there are mainly 2 way of buying gold Jewellery

1. with labour cost ( hidden cost )
2. without labour cost

Sometimes when customer buy a jewellery ,
they buy at higher rate even the gold price is cheap as the sale person said.
This is because most of time majority shop have labour cost.
Result higher rate eventually.
example ( same type of item )

Shop A :
gold price : 275/g
labour cost : rm100
bracelet weight : 5g
PRICE/g : (( 275 x 5 ) + 100 ) / 5
PRICE/g :rm 295/g

Shop B :
gold price : 275/g
labour cost : rm 0 ( NO LABOUR COST )
bracelet weight : 5g
PRICE/g : ( 275 x 5 ) / 5
PRICE/g :rm 275/g

Obviously Shop B is cheaper than shop A.
The labour cost / Free Upah some times can have large difference in price.
NB: Not all jewellery price with labour cost is bad.
No labour cost / Free Upah is more transparent to customer
