SnapFolio is a focused document workspace for scanning, reading, editing, signing, protecting, organizing, and exporting important files—without creating a SnapFolio account.
SCAN AND CAPTURE
• Capture multi-page documents, receipts, forms, notes, and other paper records with your camera.
• Import images and supported files from your device.
• Use guided ID Card mode to capture both sides and save them together as one printable PDF.
• Use Passport mode for the passport photo page, with an optional support page when needed.
• Choose PDF or image output settings and review every page before saving.
• Retake pages, crop, trim edges, rotate, and adjust color, clarity, and detail before you finish.
OCR AND TEXT TOOLS
• Read text from scans, images, and PDFs with on-device OCR powered by Google ML Kit.
• Read a full page or select a specific area for text recognition.
• Copy extracted text and search your library using recognized text.
• Export OCR results as TXT, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), or searchable PDF.
• Turn structured OCR results into rows and columns for easier spreadsheet work.
• Review OCR results before using them—recognition can vary with document quality, lighting, handwriting, and layout.
PDF AND IMAGE TOOLS
• Crop and rotate pages.
• Adjust color, contrast, cleanup, and detail for clearer document images.
• Add marks to pages and save edited copies.
• Merge PDFs or images into a new PDF.
• Split PDF pages into separate files.
• Compress PDFs to reduce file size.
• Protect PDFs with a password or remove password protection when you know the current password.
• Sign documents with saved signatures. Draw a signature, keep it in your Signature Library, then place and resize it on a page.

• Move unwanted files to Trash, restore them later, or delete them permanently.
• Select multiple files for batch actions such as moving or merging.
BACKUP AND CONTROL
• Keep documents in app-private storage on your device by default.
• Choose when to export, share, email, or send a document to another app.
• Back up and restore to a folder you choose, including compatible cloud-storage locations.
• Use Manual Backup or enable Auto Backup after connecting a folder.
• New backup generations protect document and selected settings contents with a recovery key. Keep a safe copy of the key—SnapFolio cannot recover a lost one.
• Lock SnapFolio with Android biometrics or your device PIN.
• Protect individual PDF files with their own passwords.
PRIVACY
SnapFolio does not create a user account or operate a document server. Your document files stay in app-private storage by default. When you export, share, email, or back up, the destination you choose receives the copy and controls its storage.
Document content used for OCR is processed on-device. Google ML Kit may collect limited device, app, performance, and diagnostic information for analytics; document images and OCR content are not uploaded to a SnapFolio server. Review the Privacy Policy for complete details.
