About this app

Snoko is the simplest way to run a stokvel — save together with the people you trust and keep every rand accounted for.

Create a shared pot, invite your circle, and track every contribution with proof of payment and member approval. Snoko never holds your money: payments happen from your own bank account as always, while Snoko keeps the group's record honest and everyone in the loop.

TWO KINDS OF POTS • Goal pots — save toward a target together: December groceries, a family holiday, school fees. Watch the progress ring fill as contributions are approved. • Rotating stokvels — everyone contributes each cycle and one member receives the pot, in a fair, visible order. Snoko tracks whose turn it is, what has been collected, and what is still to come.

PROOF, NOT PROMISES • Submit each contribution with proof of payment • Someone else always checks it — in a rotating stokvel the member receiving that cycle approves the payments, and in a goal pot the creator does. Nobody ever approves their own payment. • Approved contributions update the shared balance instantly for every member

BUILT ON CONSENT • Joining is invitation-only — nobody is added to a pot without accepting • Ending a rotating stokvel or deleting a pot with activity needs every member's approval — one decline cancels it • Payouts are confirmed by the receiver before a round is closed

ALWAYS IN THE LOOP • Live balances and a full activity feed for every pot • Alerts for invitations, submissions, approvals, and payout updates • Export a complete PDF statement of any pot at any time — transparency is the point
