**State of Charge** is a high-performance simulation engine that bridges the "Data Vacuum" in broadcasting. While fans see speed and lap times, the most critical tactical variable—**Battery State of Charge (SoC)**—is a closely guarded team secret.
State of Charge uses an **Inverse-Physics Model** based on the 2026 Technical Regulations to reverse-engineer energy flow. By analyzing raw telemetry (throttle, brake, RPM, and speed), we provide fans with a live "Pit Wall" experience that reveals which drivers are harvesting, who is deploying "Manual Override" (MOM), who has Overtake mode, and who is "clipping" at the end of straights.
A live or playback race session must be selected. For replay you have to press **play when the lights go out** to sync with the race.
The list of drivers is ordered by position during a race or a sprint, the main feature is the State of Charge of the driver, providing direct insight in overtake capability, a lead of 20% is a good advantage.
Pressing a driver creates a focus that includes all drivers within 1 second, but also shows the Blue LR bar and sector times. The Blue Lap Recovered bar is used to track progress on the limit each lap and the strategy of the drivers are divers from pushing early to finding the maximum over the lap or some other strategy.
Toggle the gap from “gap to front” to “gap to leader” with the gap toggle below on the right, lapped drivers do not show a time but a lap count in the gap to leader state.
