SocialPets: The social network for animal lovers
SocialPets is an innovative social network designed for pet owners and animal lovers. With SocialPets, you can easily create a profile using your email or Google account. Additionally, if you prefer not to register right away, you can access core features, such as finding lost animals, through a no-registration start option.
SocialPets' main focus is providing support for lost animals. The application has a radar that shows you missing animals that are near your location. If an animal is within 10 km, you will receive an immediate notification so you can offer your help as soon as possible. You can also view lost pets on a Google Maps map, which shows the last place they were seen.
Once registered and authenticated, you can create a personalized user profile with a profile image, name and a unique ID that will allow you to contact and be identified by other users. You can also create individual profiles for your pets, where you can add photos, descriptions and update the status of each one.
SocialPets includes a variety of additional features to enrich your experience:
-Pet diary: Keep a personalized record of your pets with a complete agenda.
-Pet supplies store: Explore a store with more than 1,500 products related to the care of your animals.
-Direct support: Get direct help and support from the creator of the application, Daniel, for any questions or inconveniences.
-Future news and functions that are in development.
-Exclusive functions for associations: SocialPets provides special functions for animal organizations and associations. These features include verified profiles that are enabled only by administrators, ensuring security and trust in the community. Associations can benefit from additional tools to promote adoption, animal care, and seek support locally and internationally.
-Exclusive functions for professionals: SocialPets tries to connect pet owners with professionals in the animal field, for this there are professional profiles (selected by administrators) which will have access to professional functions.
-VIP functions: By upgrading your user to a VIP category you get new permissions and functions, you will not see ads either.
Additionally, SocialPets prioritizes the privacy of your data. Conversations between users are managed through an internal messaging system, where contact requests must be accepted before a conversation can begin.
