MeasureMate puts a ruler and a protractor on your phone.
Ruler
- Measure small objects placed on or held against your screen, in millimetres, centimetres or inches.
- Drag four handles to measure width and height at the same time; lock any handle so it stays put.
- Calibrate the ruler against a real ruler or a card for a closer match on your phone. The setting is saved.
- Show the camera image behind the ruler.
Protractor
- Measure tilt from 0 to 180 degrees with your phone's motion sensor, or place both lines by hand to measure an angle on the screen.
- Show the camera image behind the protractor to line it up with an object.
History
- Save a measurement, with a photo that includes the ruler or protractor if you like.
- Open, share or delete saved measurements, or clear the whole history.
Settings
- Default unit, handle locks, overlay in saved photos, ruler background colour and dark mode.
Good to know
- The ruler can only measure objects that fit on your screen. Without calibration, sizes are estimated from the screen size your phone reports and can be off.
- Lines drawn over the camera image are a visual guide only. The camera image is not to scale.
- No account is needed. Your measurements are stored on your device.
