Garden Journal is a cozy pixel-art plant care journal where your plants wear hats you draw yourself, and every care reminder is free.

Draw a tiny hat in Hat Studio, fit it to your cactus's head with one tap, and share it with a friend. Then let the app remind you when each plant needs water, fertilizer, or a leaf clean.

Hat Studio: a real pixel editor for tiny hats
• Draw on a 32×32 canvas, or 64×64 for finer detail
• Pencil, eraser, fill, line, rectangle, ellipse, select-and-move, eyedropper, and mirror for perfectly even hats
• Undo and redo, pinch to zoom with a mini-map, and a precision cursor for exact pixels
• Start from a template (cap, beanie, bow, or crown), remix a hat you've earned, or open any PNG
• Your plant shows faintly under the canvas, and you can try the hat on your real plants as you draw
• An unfinished hat is kept if your phone closes the app, so you can pick it up later
• Name your hats, and edit or duplicate them anytime

Hats on your plants
• Choose the hat your garden wears: one you drew or one you earned
• Fit to head: one tap sets the hat right on a plant's head, or fit every plant at once
• Nudge, flip, or shrink the hat on a plant's pixel art, and move or resize it on its cover photo
• Earn hats by caring: your 10th, 50th, and 100th care log, your first photo, and your first journal note
• Seasonal hats: a witch hat in October and a winter beanie in December
• Every plant wears a birthday cake on its adoption anniversary

Share what you make
• Share a hat card: your hat on a plant's pixel art, plus its name
• The hat comes along as a PNG, so a friend with the app can wear it too
• Share a plant's story: a pixel portrait card showing how long you've grown it together
• Cards are pixel art only and never include your photos

Every care feature is free
• Unlimited plants, with care schedules filled in for 67 houseplants, herbs, and garden plants
• Watering, fertilizing, and leaf-cleaning reminders at the time you choose
• A journal for every plant: care history, notes, and a photo timeline of how it's grown
• Groups for plants that share a routine: water the whole balcony with one tap
• Quick care: long-press a plant to log care in a second
• Forgot to log a task? Say whether you did it on time or are doing it now, and the schedule adjusts
