Child Parento is the child app for the Parento Parent app.

The connected parent uses the Parento Parent app to control features. Child Parento app on the child’s phone syncs those changes and applies them.

Only the connected parent can control, enable, disable, request, view, or manage the child’s safety features and related data through the paired connection.

The connected parent sets safe zones and gets alerts when the child enters or leaves them.

Location History
When enabled by the connected parent, Child Parento collects location history and sends it to the connected parent.

App Usage Insights
When enabled by the connected parent, Child Parento collects screen time and app activity and sends it to the parent.

App Blocking & Time Limits
The parent sets app limits in the Parento Parent app for the child. Child Parento app syncs and applies them.

Phone Lock & Focus Time
The parent can start phone lock, set timer-based lock for study time, reading time, or bedtime routines.

Web Security & Content Filtering
When enabled by the parent, Child Parento blocks or allows websites and applies category-based web filtering.

Website Visit History
When the web filter is enabled by the parent, Child Parento collects the Website visit/YouTube Watch Title History and sends it to the connected parent.

Social Notification Tracking
When enabled by the connected parent, Child Parento collects Social notification metadata and sends it to the connected parent.

Live Ambient Sound / Camera Track
When requested by the connected parent and supported by device permissions, Child Parento shares short ambient sound or camera view with the connected parent for the requested time.

SOS Emergency Audio
During SOS, Child Parento records and sends a short emergency audio clip to the connected parent.

Ring Through Silent
The connected parent can make the child's device ring even in silent/Doze mode.

AccessibilityService Disclosure
Child Parento uses Android AccessibilityService for connected-parent-authorized parental control features on the child device. This includes app blocking, app time limits, website visit tracking, YouTube watch title history and helping prevent the child from turning off, bypassing, or removing parent-enabled protections without the required Parent PIN.

Accessibility access is used only after setup and is connected with a parent and explicit permission on the child device by the connected parent or guardian.

Child Parento does not use AccessibilityService for deceptive behaviour, reading passwords, reading personal text content, collecting typed text, bypassing Android privacy protections, or remote call audio recording.

Website visit URLs and YouTube watch titles are collected only when the connected parent enables the web filter.

VPN / Web Filter Disclosure
Child Parento creates a local VPN service on the child device for web filtering, website allow/block rules, category-based blocking, website visit visibility, and safer browsing when enabled by the connected parent.

Device Admin Disclosure
Child Parento requests Device Administrator permission for connected-parent-authorised parental control features, such as lock controls and helping reduce unauthorised disabling or removal of child safety protections or child app.

The connected parent can delete child data, unpair the device, and remove the connection anytime. Child data will be deleted when the parent unpairs the connected child.

Setup
Install Parento Parent on the parent’s phone.
Install Child Parento on the child’s Android phone.
Open the parent app and get the pairing code or QR code.
Enter the code or scan the QR code in Child Parento to connect both devices securely.
