To make things even easier for those travelling in coach groups on our Dover - Calais route, we've launched a NEW Coach Scan App. This new app is available in both English and French, and enables coach drivers, travel company representatives or group travel organisers to scan passports or ID cards of all passengers travelling on a coach in advance of arrival at the ports of Dover or Calais, to facilitate a faster check-in time.
Once downloaded, follow the simple step by step instructions on screen:
Select your preferred language - English or French
Accept our Terms of Service to continue
Follow the phone authentication steps (required for the safety and security of the app)
Once verified, enter the booking details to recall your reservation
Commence passports scanning:
Select if it is a driver, courier/leader or passenger passport for scanning
Allow the app to access the camera
Position the rectangle over the passport number
Once positioned correctly, the passport will scan
Repeat until all passports are scanned, and then press "Finish Scanning".
Review the summary of the scans completed and submit the data.
Choose to log out or to start scanning for another booking.
