The application is designed to call a detention group by transmitting an alarm signal to the security console.
An alarm signal can be generated in different ways:
- by clicking on the “Alarm” button in the main application window;
- using a widget;
- using an additional Bluetooth panic button;
- using the mechanical volume keys of the mobile device.
The application can operate in one of two panic button modes: “Stationary” or “Portable”. Unlike a stationary one, a portable panic button sends the coordinates of the current location along with the alarm signal.
In portable panic button mode, the application can be used as a software tracker - periodically sending the coordinates of the device's location. To turn the tracker function on and off, there is a corresponding button on the main screen.
During its operation, the application can monitor the battery level of the mobile device.
For a complete list of features, see the application help.
The application uses the Accessibility service. Using this service, the application processes only events of pressing the physical volume buttons of the device to generate and send an alarm signal to the security console. Events of pressing physical buttons are not saved and are not transmitted anywhere outside the device.
