About this app

This is the app of the Spanish Association of Science and Technology Parks (APTE), a non-profit organization whose main objective is to contribute to the renewal and diversification of productive activity, technological progress, and economic development by promoting and disseminating information about science and technology parks.

It is located at the headquarters of Málaga TechPark and was founded in 1989 by the managers of the first six parks established in Spain. It is an associate member of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP).

Currently, it has 61 members throughout Spain. Fifty-three of these are fully operational Member Parks, four are Affiliate Parks under development, and four are Collaborating Members.

Twenty-one of these parks are promoted by universities, and more than 40 Spanish universities collaborate with them. These parks housed 6,000 companies at the end of 2024, generating €31.576 billion in revenue. These companies employ 168,462 people, of whom 42,170 work in R&D.
