Stream live with overlays onto your Facebook page or group. You can go live simultaneously on both your page and group as well. Your overlay tells your audience what to comment on, gives the picture and price of the product you’re showing, and has variant information (ex size, color, etc).
Control your overlays through your Shopify SoldLive app. You can use a prebuilt playlist or scan barcodes to dynamically update your overlay.
Overlays are not needed to go live with SoldLive. You can always just go live directly on Facebook like you normally do, and your shoppers would just comment on the numbers you call out. In fact, we recommend you go live without overlays if this is your first time. But if you do go live with this Android app, the overlay helps clarify what to comment on and also crosses out variant options that are sold out.
If you go live through this Android app, you’ll have 2 devices: (1) your phone and (2) your laptop. Your phone acts as your camera. And your laptop will have one tab open to the Shopify SoldLive Overlays tab to control the overlay and another tab open to the actual FB live so that you can watch for comments.
