About this app

The Sole Mirroring APP provides a simple way to wirelessly mirror your Android device’s screen to our entertainment console. Make your workouts more enjoyable by viewing the info from your device on our large console display.

Steps to connect:
1.Connect your phone or tablet and our Sole console to the same WiFi.
2.Open the Sole Mirroring App on your device and select the model name shown on our console.
3.Click the “Start Mirroring” button to complete the screen mirroring process.

Edit (01.27.21): It works now that v1.6 is available and the Sole Mirror app (on Treadmill) was updated. Although the Phone and Location (all the time) permissions are still suss. Previous review: Cannot get it to work. Device is not casted to F85 screen after pressing "Start Mirroring." Edit: able to get a quick flicker of my Android's screen when switching display screens. Maybe there's hope.

I use with 2023 Sole LCR. Sometimes works okay with certain apps but is unstable, loses connection, and will not mirror popular streaming apps. Works fine for streaming Rumble to bike. Will not stream YT TV, Pluto or Tubi. It would be nice if it worked with these popular streaming apps. Also does not stream sound so earbuds must be worn while streaming video to bike screen.

Too many permissions required. The Sole Fitness treadmill should simply implement standard Google Cast protocol, including casting with a code (to allow casting across Wi-Fi networks so that the treadmill can connect to a guest network rather than a privileged network). If that were the case, then this app wouldn't be necessary at all, since Android already has a working cast client baked into it.
