The blurb for this service says that it also must be running on the PC that the printer is connected to. I downloaded and installed it on my Android Smartphone, but not on the PC. The dialog box for the app says that the service has been installed on 'this device", and won't allow installation on the PC. Looks like I've wasted more time on a poorly written installation program and/or sloppy author. With the increasing preponderance of amateurs and their programs, we are quickly reaching the performance levels of a third-world country in the U.S. Nothing works as advertised, businesses don't return calls, and close at their whim,, paying no attention to their stated business hours. The only thing you can depend on is getting a lame excuse in place of promised service. In this case I regret that there is no way to give a half-star rating. Yes, I checked my services to see whether it was even present, let alone running. And yes, the computer has power and has been turned on.I also can print from other applications on the PC. Welcome to America, where the new breed of software engineers are barely English-literate, and write sloppy programs and incomprehensible instructions.
Doesn't work on S7 with Xerox Phaser 6500N printer. The help file is buried and hard to find. There are no instructions for how to actually print. Granted, Android is not consistent in the way the "Print" command is displayed and many apps do not have a "print" option at all, but that is even more reason why a print service app should be very clear about how to set it up, how to use it, and what the limitations are with different apps. This app does not attempt to address any of those issues but instead takes the attitude - what do you want for free? After countless hours playing with this app I was able to get it to find my networked Xerox printer, but it still would not actually print to it. None of the responses from the developer were very helpful and a lot of the info they provided while trying to help was simply incorrect. I finally got printing to work using Cloud Print, which is already on the Samsung S7!
This app just woked as described... I've a printet connected to a computer and my mobile connected on thr same wifi the computer connected... just have to install the server and I can print from my mobile! Wonderful job!
