About this game

Long ago, a great Dragonmaster named Dyne, with the aid of his faithful companions, defended the goddess Althena from a terrible evil. Time has passed, and those great adventurers have become the stuff of legend, but the world of Lunar is now threatened by a shadowy figure known as the Magic Emperor. In a humble village, far removed from the turmoil, lives a young man named Alex. Idolizing the legendary Dyne, Alex dreams of one day becoming a renowned Dragonmaster and matching the achievements of his lifelong hero. Encouraged by his childhood friend Ramus, Alex sets out with his companion Nall and his adopted sister Luna on a seemingly trivial quest, unaware that it would prove to be the first step in an epic adventure whose outcome will determine the fate of the entire world. Now available on Android, this critically-acclaimed version of the award-winning Japanese RPG "Lunar Silver Star Story" offers numerous improvements including:
- Nearly a full hour of animated cut scenes
- A remastered soundtrack with high quality music and voice tracks
- A completely updated interface designed specifically for mobile devices
- Higher resolution artwork and widescreen gameplay
- External controller support
- Variable speed in battle and difficulty controls
- And much more!

Persistent issue with the shadow layer. It destroys the graphical experience. Rather than charming cartoon and pixel art, it becomes a mess of awkward visual cacophony. I've had a couple other bugs. It won't offer a new save slot when I go to save. The videos getting hung up occasionally. Otherwise playable. I first played Lunar Silver Star Story Complete when that version was released. It quickly became a favorite. This version has a few differences but is otherwise a great nostalgia trip.

Love the PS1 version, and this port is pretty close. Touch controls could use some work, you get stuck on objects a lot trying to move through town/dungeon maps. Some abilities don't work correctly: Alex's Explosion has a tinier aoe than it should on certain encounters; Luna's Cascade doesn't buff defense at all; you can't always select a target for Nash's lightning. 6hrs in and prob more to find. I hope issues are fixed soon because Lunar should be in everyone's library.

This was my first RPG I ever played as a kid, and it's amazing to finally have this on android after spotting it on iOS some years ago. I was just expecting a 1 to 1 port, but I'm very impressed with all the enhancement settings added. Thank you so much! If you ever do an Eternal Blue release, you have a day 1 purchase from me! I play this on controller, but for those complaining about the touch screen controls, there is an option in the settings that allows you to use traditional touch input.
