About this app

Sonder is a 24/7 safety and wellbeing service, connecting you to the help you need at the touch of a button. Including mental and physical health support from our team of nurses, wellbeing experts and in-person responders, as well as in-app safety features like “Check on me” and “Track my journey”.

* Stressed, alone or need someone to talk to? Speak to our expert mental health team of nurses, doctors, and psychologists - real people who have dedicated their lives to helping others. They’re here to support you and can help you understand what options are available to you.
* Injured or ill? We can conduct medical triage, take you through the available options, help you find the nearest medical centres, book appointments and assist with admin.
* Victim of a crime or an online scam? We can find the right support services and assist with police reports or incident forms.

We are 100% independant and 100% confidential. Feel secure in the knowledge that anything you disclose to the Sonder team is held in the strictest of confidence. 

HUMANS, NOT ROBOTS
When you reach out to us, know a real person will be on the other side, ready to help. The Sonder support team includes nurses, doctors, psychologists and emergency trained professionals. Our on-the-ground responders are trained in incident management and mental health first aid. Get confidential, multilingual support on any issue or challenge you face. 

PROACTIVE ALERTS
We scan the environment for anything that may impact your life or your safety - from a police operation or traffic incident, to an extreme weather event or a global pandemic. 

IN-APP SAFETY FEATURES
* Check on me: Feel safe in any situation. Maybe you’re meeting someone new or going somewhere unfamiliar. Sonder can check in on you, at a time you specify, to make sure you’re safe and well.
* Track my journey: Stay connected day or night. Whether you’re out and about, walking in the dark or on your daily commute, we ensure you progress safely from your start point to end point.


IN-PERSON SUPPORT
If you’re in Australia or New Zealand metro areas, we can get someone by your side within 20 minutes, ready to help.

WE WORK WITH EMERGENCY SERVICES
If you're in danger or need urgent medical assistance, we will coordinate with existing emergency services to bring you the best support.

Fully recommended and super happy with a recommendation from a person who worked there and came to our workplace love it where it tracks you and when we speak to the people they aren't AI but acually people but a suggestion or something I urgently want on this app would be while tracking it only has car walk and bike it would be nice if there was transport too!

Set up an account, got talking to someone who gave me a link to an Australian website which I would've had to pay for, app crashed and when I went to login CV to get back to the chat I had to set up a whole new account as there's no clear way to log on to the created account. It's easier to just deal with my personal health issues by myself

Genuinely the worst service I have encountered, and an absolute travesty of an "EAP solution". If you want to receive regular alerts about irrelevant topics, this is the app for you. If you are hoping to arrange medical care, think again! All you will find here is a frustrating hellscape of a chatroom where various gatekeepers may eventually (if you are lucky, and patient) end up referring you to an external provider.
