With sonnen App, you are empowered to manage your own clean energy anytime from anywhere. The app allows you to:
- Get an overview of the performance of your sonnenHome energy system including your battery, PV system and EV charger (where applicable)
- Access details on your sonnen energy contracts: sonnenFlat and sonnenConnect
- See detailed insights on your household’s live energy flow
- Get real-time and historical system data on your household’s energy consumption and generation
- Choose a basic or professional mode on how you would like your energy data to be displayed
- Set your battery backup buffer so your household is prepared for an energy outage

Ratings and reviews

data does not refresh very well. I like the app because it tells me the status of my solar panels and production. what I would like is an app that will let me access my system and view the performance and allow me to adjust any parameters when I don't have Internet. since my Internet has been sketchy lately. I can use Wi-Fi when the Internet is down! there may come some time in the near future where I'll just dump the Internet.

Easy to review how self-sufficient our numbers show how well our cells preform, and how well the battery helps in storage and supplying energy that was being used by the home.

2025:after the latest update it logs me out like 2 a day and it takes 5 tries to log in 2024:Seems to work, as it shows the current status and historic data. However it doesn't allow a lot of changes. Additionally, the battery graph uses almost the same color for balancing and CARE (yes, all caps for some reason) making them impossible to tell apart. And the temperature is shown if Fahrenheit even if I change the app language to English UK or German, because my phone is set to English US.
