About this app

Pomes turns your building into a real community.

Most "neighborhood" apps lump together strangers across miles of city. Pomes is different — it's scoped to your address. Everyone you see lives in the same building, verified by their unit and resident status. That's what finally makes neighbor-to-neighbor help feel safe and natural.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

🔧 Borrow & Lend
That cordless drill you use twice a year? Lend it. The folding chairs you need for one dinner party? Borrow them. List items you're willing to share, request what you need, and keep things flowing on the floors above and below you.

🤝 Favors
Offer help you're happy to give — dog-sitting on weekends, a ride to the airport, watering plants while someone's away. Or post an "ask" when you need a hand. Categories like Pets, Plants, Errands, and Kids match you with neighbors who already said they're up for it.

📅 Building Events
Rooftop wine night. Saturday morning run. Kids' playdate on the courtyard. Hosts can create events with location and RSVPs; everyone in the building can join. No more "I wish I'd known" — your building's social calendar lives in one place.

💬 Group + Direct Chat
Every borrow, favor, and event creates its own thread. Coordinate the pickup, confirm the time, share a photo. No phone numbers exchanged.

🌱 Tier System
The more you lend, help, and host, the more your tier grows — Seed → Sprout → Baby Tree → Oak. It's a soft, visible signal of who's been showing up for the building. No leaderboards, no shaming, just recognition.

WHY POMES

✓ Building-only privacy. Only verified residents of your address see your posts.
✓ Real photos, real units. No anonymous posters from across town.
✓ Built for the small wins. The cup of flour, the spare cable, the friendly chat.

If your building has more capacity for warmth than its current group chat allows, Pomes is for you.
