Sound It Out is a phonics app that teaches children the 44 sounds of English in both British (UK) and American (US) accents. One tap switches the whole app between accents, so children can hear every sound in the pronunciation they are familiar with.

It follows the synthetic phonics method used in schools. Children learn letter sounds first and then blend those sounds into real words, helping them begin reading from the first few lessons.
