About this app

Too many Veterans and Service Members in need of support do not seek it, or are unable to effectively engage support.

By pairing a secure call and messaging application with a support network of professional clinicians and screened and trained peers, we are able to provide free and completely anonymous access to mental health care for the men and women who have served our country.

Sound Off is the first and only mental health resource that allows both anonymity and repeat contact with clinicians or peers. All interactions between those seeking support and those offering it are contained entirely within the app.

Sound Off is here to help the thousands of individuals who are looking for access to mental health support and do not feel comfortable seeking it through traditional channels of support.

The robot Clara just talks about nonsense. The Battle Buddy option is never available, so I guess I don't have any battle buddies. There is only one clinician, Tatiana from Chula Vista, and her background and training doesn't fit my issues. I should've known this was a waste if time, all help suggested by Military OneSource is garbage. I can see why so many Veterans commit suicide, the help that is actually available is more stressful than the problems we are having.

I think it can be beneficial for some. I don't think it should be used for more in depth counseling, and that is because of the risk for triggers. That is better done in person. I think there are things that would be helpful for the app that could be added for providers. It is a fairly new program and as time passes, I'm sure there will be more and more upgrades and more providers added.

This app and it's team is exactly what's wrong with helping service members/veterans. There is no help available in the app for most states. No battle buddy or clinicians available. What a absolute joke. The app was featured on the nighly news tonight. Thanks again for wasting my time and using veterans to further the developers agenda and not provide jack nothing for help. PTSD is a serious issue and I suggest this app team take it more serious.
