The PC website is fantastic. Super simple to use, and you can make basically whatever your heart desires. The mobile app, however, is a disaster. It's unbelievably buggy, the audio glitches out constantly with even the simplest tracks, and thats even assuming you can manage to make a track to begin with. The piano roll function just about never works, you can hardly manage to place a note. It's abysmal trying to use it.

We're glad to hear you are enjoying the desktop version of Soundtrap but are sorry the app is stopping you from making your best music. Please can you email support with your device details so we can get the piano roll function working for you as soon as possible. We are constantly releasing updates to fix glitches like this, so please reach out!

I use this app on a computer at school and it works amazing. But, on mobile, it's an utter disaster. It's buggy, audio won't download, things disappear from time to time. I give it three stars only because the desktop version is lovely to work with, but I only have access to that version at school. Please fix the bugs, this is a wonderful, beginner-friendly music software, but it could be so much better on mobile

The app is amazing especially if you are a beginner however, I can't directly download my music to my phone. I wish the experience was more like that of the experience on PC. I find that the mobile app is a lot harder to navigate, and is missing several features, and the audio is so much Better on PC. Therefore if you can you are better off is the PC application. However I do still recommend soundtrap.
