Persistence, Bananas and Questionable Decisions.
You are the head of state of a very small, very fictional nation. The Brass want more parades. The Fat Cats want tax relief for their yachts. The Masses would like a bank holiday for your birthday, again. Keep them all just about happy, keep the books looking tidy, and quietly fill an offshore Sock for the day it all goes wrong. Because it will.
CAREER: THE LONG REIGN
• Grow your nation: farms, homes, barracks and the inevitable Statue of Me.
• Answer demands from every faction: grant it, fob them off or refuse.
• Skim from the National Piggy Bank into the Sock, while the Ministry of Ears gets suspicious.
• Prepare an Exit Plan: the Getaway Gasbag, the Secret Tunnel, the Laundry Van or the Giant Cake.
• When the Big Kerfuffle comes, dig in or leg it.
• Retire with a Legacy Score and be Mildly Remembered (or better).
FAST: THE FIVE-MINUTE REGIME
• One timed term. Swipe each demand to grant, refuse or fob it off.
• Mash the Skim drawer, survive the Kerfuffle, escape to the next country and build a chain.
EIGHT FICTIONAL LEADERS, FOUR KINDS OF COUNTRY
• Pick your leader and your patch: Island, Inland, Mountain or Coastal.
• Paint your palace and design your own flag. Purely cosmetic: nothing in the Shop wins you a reign.
All characters and countries are fictional. Any resemblance is entirely the point, and also not.
Rule a tiny fictional nation, fill the Sock and leg it before the Kerfuffle.
