Are you tired of writing your mileage logbook by hand? Then you've come to the right place. TripTracker is the only mobile driver’s logbook that is automatically written by using GPS, Bluetooth-Detection, reverse Geocoding or OBDII data. In addition, you can also manage vehicle costs to keep an overview.

** OBDII **
TripTracker is able to connect directly to your car so that it can read the odometer and calculate the distance traveled. This allows TripTracker to write your mileage logbook 100% synchronized with your car. In addition, various parameters and the error memory can be read.
To use this feature, you don’t need to modify your car! You just require a Bluetooth adapter which is plugged in to the cars OBDII interface. Installation is very easy since in most modern cars the OBDII interface is directly beneath the steering wheel.

** Security **
TripTracker provides complete and correct data collection. The mileage logbook’s integrity is ensured by various hash and encryption algorithm. Each entry has its own checksum to guarantee that it isn't changed afterwards or outside of TripTracker. The generated PDF can be signed by one of our servers to ensure that it can't be modified.

** Privacy **
In contrary to most other systems all the collected data is your property. It is not stored somewhere abroad on a Server or a Cloud. The mileage logbook is on your phone in a local high performance SQL database.
TripTracker does not sell or analyze your mileage logbook!!

** Backend **
TripTracker has a powerful synchronization mechanism that allows you to collect and edit your mileage logbook across multiple devices. There is also a web interface which allows you to analyze your data on a PC or Mac.

Trying it out. Needs one more step in the setup process. Needs to ask for current vehicle mileage. I guessed that is what the mileage box was for and got it right. I like the fact that when my phone blue tooths to my vehicle, the software starts recording. I can go back into its records and capture trips I forgot to document. Two Bugs 1. Trying to purchase add free version. Purchased export first and now get an error when trying to pay for ad free. Software says I have not paid for ad free. 2. Typo on Category details screen. Instead of Choose the Radius it says Choose the Radios.

This is great. I drive my truck for work, and this app makes it *SO* easy to track mileage and expenses. I'm in the habit, every night just before bed, I go through the clipboard and set all my trips. I did have one question for the developer and he was on top of it with a response and assisted in guiding me to the solution. Great support, even better app.

the app does what it says, which is good. It's sometimes slow to fill in either start or end address of the trip, so the "update/reload" button needs to be tapped more than once, which is annoying, same with the distance calculator, which sometimes makes an error of 0.1km and then annoys me (saying that I made an error) to update it by tapping on the "=" button (that is if I haven't spotted the error in the first place and done the "update tap" already. But one thing I can say and that is the main reason for giving only 2 stars rating, is the fact that the DESCRIPTION DOESN'T LET US KNOW THAT EXPORT IS NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT PAYING A HEFTY AU$8.79. It's not that much about money, but now I've used the app for months without knowing it. Now that I need the document as a hard copy, I'm being forced to pay the price, otherwise my data is useless. If I knew upfront that the export will cost money, maybe I would look for a (cheaper) alternative. I know it's business, yet being honest and upfront with your customers should be part of it, too.
