About this game

Bento Playbox is a set of cozy food-themed toys made for preschoolers and young kids. Open the bento tray and choose something to play with: cook a silly meal, fill a grocery cart, match snack cards, pack a bento snack box, or color a page.

There are no points to chase, timers to beat, or mistakes to worry about. Each toy is made for short, self-directed play that kids can start and stop whenever they’re ready.

Inside the playbox:

Bento Builder
Pack a bento box for a friendly animal who has special requests. Close it up, apply a sticker, and serve it to them. Packed food is colored by you!

Cooking
Cook in a bubbling pot, a sizzling pan, or on a backyard grill. Plate your meal and tap to eat it bite by bite. Kids can move food around, hear playful sounds, and make their own pretend meals. Nothing is ever the wrong ingredient.

Little Market
Look at the shopping list, find the foods on the shelves, and place them in the cart. Lists change from round to round, with themes like Soup Night, Picnic Basket, Fruit Basket, and more.

Snack Match
Flip cards and find matching foods in a simple memory game. There is no timer and no score, so kids can play at their own pace. Multiple difficulties available.

Coloring Book
Pick a food drawing and color it with crayons, a brush, or a paint bucket. Finished pages save automatically, and Free Draw gives kids a blank page to make anything they want. Crayons let your little one practice staying in the lines (or creatively going outside of them), while the paint brush and bucket keep the colors inside the lines.

Made for kids:
- Large tap targets and draggable food pieces
- Portrait play on phone and tablet
- Optional sounds and haptics
- Spoken food names
- Accessibility labels and hints

Parent-friendly by design:
- No ads
- No accounts or sign-in
- No subscriptions or in-app purchases
- No analytics or tracking
- No external links to take them out of the game
- No streaks, scores, leaderboards, or pressure

A small Grown-ups button, opened with a press and hold, includes sound and haptic settings plus app information.

Bento Playbox is a one-time purchase, with free updates as they come. Open it anytime for a few minutes of food-themed play.

Cooked with love in San Antonio, TX by a father of two little girls.
