This app uses the AccessibilityService API strictly to detect physical hardware button events (specifically KEYCODE_UNKNOWN / Key 0) from the device's 'Essential Key'.

It's good and it works. The Essentially wasted button now has a meaningful purpose. Thank you to the anonymous third-party developer for giving us something that never should have been withheld. Note: the Permissions required by the App are excessive and extensive - you should not install unless you trust the developers and/or are happy that your device does not contain personal information.

Never was a big fan of Nothing's whole 'essential space', and having it shoved down my throat with a button that came preinstalled on my phone wasn't to my liking... So, 29 cents and a few uninstalled apps later, now I have shortcuts that I'll ACTUALLY use. Everything in the app is easy to understand, it is just a button remapper that has been simplified a ton. Though, I BEG of you to add a one press shortcut, it gets a little old triple/double pressing the button for one shortcut after a while!

Decent. Simple to use and set up, letting you use any compatible app on your phone as a shortcut. I only hope that the single click input customization is on its way, so that it can let you set it to something besides the intrusive Essential menu.
