DO NOT PAY THEM! Used to be a good app, but now if you send a message to the landlord they mark it as read right after sent so he/she can't see it! Outdated adds, constantly pushing into pay a fee. Just trying to get money from our pockets.

I'm writing this cause I've been renting for some time in uk (london) if you looking to move in areas in london be very careful with a lot of these agencies they do not care about your wellbeing and I don't think spare room has a clue about what's happening some of these agencies are renting houses with unruly tenants or just tenants that don't have no reference just for a bit of money and if you are a person that's not aware of it you will end up wasting your money moving again and again

search/filters are terrible, cannot actually search a particular area just applys a random radius. also can't edit a search you have to reset all the filters to modify the postcode. not a great experience

In this update, we've made improvements to browsing through rooms and whole property ads. You'll see that you can now save your favourite ads, and hide ones you’re not interested in, right from the map. We've also made a few other tweaks to make the Map screen more helpful and easier to use.
