About this app

Bookards is an early learning app for babies, toddlers and preschool children. It helps parents introduce whole-word reading and early math with digital and printable word cards, phrase cards, beginner books, dot cards and number cards.
Children first practise words with large flashcards. After learning the words from a beginner book, they can read a simple book made mostly from those familiar words. This helps children feel confident and proud as they begin reading their first simple pages.
Parents can use Bookards on a phone or tablet, or print word cards, phrase cards, beginner books and dot cards for offline practice at home.
Bookards is inspired by whole-word reading and early learning approaches such as the Glenn Doman method. Sessions are short, simple and calm, making the app easy to use with young children.
