Spark Phonics helps young children (ages 3–7) learn to read the fun way — by
hearing and practicing the real sounds that letters make. Every sound is a clear,
human-recorded voice, so children learn accurate pronunciation, not a robotic one.

Spark Phonics is designed for children but set up and managed by a parent,
guardian or teacher. We only collect the account details the adult provides
(name and phone number, email optional) to create and manage the account. We do
not show ads, and we never sell personal information. You can delete your account
and all its data at any time from inside the app (My Rewards → Delete my account).

HOW ACCESS WORKS
The single-letter and two-letter sound sections are free. To open the full course,
a parent contacts the teacher, and the account is unlocked — there is no in-app
payment.

What’s new

Sound corrections across the course: the voiced "th" (this, that, these, those, brother, mother, father), the long oo in "tooth", the silent e in cake/home/bike, and the long a and long o lessons. Sight words are now read as whole words. Several blend sounds (gl, ft, lp, nd, pt, spr, str, scr) were silent on some phones and now play.
