About this app

Sparsh is a Touch-Screen Keyboard for Tamil language developed for Android devices.
* Its simple, efficient and allows inputting any Tamil character with a single slide motion.
* Has a base keyboard layout with a popup keyboard for characters based on fundamental characters.
* Select a base letter, slide across the popup keyboard to select and input the desired character.
* Please note there is a half letter character for every consonant in the popup keyboard.

Sparsh Tamil Keyboard is part of the suite of Keyboards derived from Sparsh Indian Keyboard

Following keyboards are supported with dictionary support:
- Tamil Keyboard
- English Keyboard

For this solution to work, the device must support Indian language font rendering.

The keyboard has been developed for Android devices running on version 2.1 and above.
The LatinIME touch keyboard solution of the Android platform was used as reference.

Overall good! When there is system update I receive the msg stating that this app stopped working, when full stop key preessed cama mark placed. For new line starting that functionality does not appear on key board sometimes. While search box used in google or chrome tamil keyboard not at all appearing. Additionally whenever press fullstop key cama mark added and to get desired mark several times need to take efforts.

Sparsh Tamil Keyboard keeps stopping frequently for about 1 month time. No improvement even after sending few times feedback. The addition / inclusion of Indian Rupee symbol in the keyboard is most appropriated.

Indian rupee symbol not seen. Partially, this is similar to SWARACHAKRA KEYBOARD. Better to follow their system(round/clockwise) which is good. Words arrangements needs betterment. Search symbol is used to bring texts to next line which needs correction. சில எழுத்துகளில் புள்ளி வைப்பது வலமிருந்து இடப்புறம் & சிலவற்றில் மாறாக உள்ளது. அனைத்தும் ஒரே directionல்(clockwise) பின்பற்றவும்.
