About this app

CamAtom is a smartphone application for use with a spectroscope. It is an educational app which is appropriate for high school and introductory chemistry classes. The spectroscope separates light into component wavelengths, and the smartphone camera images the resultant spectrum. The app allows for calibration of the scope using different light sources, and then allows accurate measurement of spectral wavelengths. Images can be saved for reports.
